QMC DATA MINING PROGRAM for Windows

AUDITING & MONITORING PROGRAMS

SensorError Meter - detects bad sensors or verifies noisy sensor measurements.  The value of functioning sensors during operations is vital in controlling any process.  This tool is used to validate sensor measurements and status.  Cause and effect relationships are established by modeling methods to determine statistically when sensor errors occur.  Results can be used for preventive maintenance since faulty sensors can lead to improper process operations.

SensorFault Meter - uses cause and effect modeling technologies to establish the validity of sensor measurements and determine statistically when measurements are in error.  The SensorFault uses a voting protocol to ensure that neither readings nor sensors are in error.  The benefit of the SensorFault Meter is detection of faulty sensors or inaccurate readings that lead to degradation in product quality and profit.

QualityIndex - merges advanced statistical modeling techniques to provide a single auditing tool for the performance of a process.   A single measurement is provided to show the operational stability and process consistency; a decline in QualityIndex directly correlates with operations not meeting targeted set points.   The QualityIndex provides the top factors contributing to decline.  With this information, the necessary corrective action can be taken to improve operations.   This focus provides the information needed to maintain peak performance along with maximum efficiency, quality, and profitability for plant operations.

Equipment Performance Meter - uses fundamental equipment operating relationships to rate performance.  It provides status on how equipment is performing, when maintenance is required, or when a complete shutdown is necessary to repair the item.  This program is applicable to pumps, valves, boilers, furnaces, heat exchangers, reactors, compressors, distillation columns, separation equipment, etc.   Instability in equipment results in quality and efficiency losses in the the process that can lead to failure resulting in plant shutdown and subsequent safety and environmental concerns.

Auditing provides color coded performance indicators.   They are located as a bar next to graphs and status is revealed as text in the lower left corner of the screens.
