QMC DATA MINING PROGRAM for Windows QUALITYINDEX PROGRAM The QualityIndex merges advanced statistical modeling techniques to provide a single auditing tool for the performance of a process. A single measurement is provided to show the operational stability and process consistency. The QualityIndex can be configured for safety, environment, quality, profit indices, etc. The average value graph provides verification of plant operations and provides a measure of the consistency or stability of the process. A decline in QualityIndex directly correlates with operations not meeting targeted set points. The QualityIndex goes steps further by providing the top factors contributing to the decline. With this information, the necessary corrective action can be taken to improve operations. This focus provides the information needed to maintain peak performance along with maximum efficiency, quality, and profitability for plant operations. The QualityIndex can be configured for several options. The Safety Index will indicate when something is wrong with a process and how to prevent it ahead of time. If an item is a potential safety hazard, it would focus on sensors that were not operating normally and would predict impending problems.The Environmental Index will indicate the root cause for an environmental excursion and will predict ahead of time, before the excursion occurs. Operations that are suspect or potentially unstable are indicated.
