PULSE TUNER PROGRAM

The QMC PulseTuner Program provides tuning constants of a controller based on a pulse test of a process. It will allow you to calculate the proportional only, proportional plus integral and proportional, integral and derivative tuning factors based on data provided. PulseTuner 1 is based on a nonlinear regression using Powell’s method for determining the controller tuning parameters. The program interfaces with Excel data but can be configured through dynamic data exchange to interface directly with a DCS or historian system.  

PulseTuner 2 is based on a more rigorous Powell’s method approach. Pulse Tuner also has Plot Input and Plot Output graphic Screens.
