QMC DATA MINING PROGRAM for Windows

STEP TUNER PROGRAM

The QMC StepTuner program provides tuning constants of a controller based on a step test of a process.  It will allow you to calculate the proportional only, proportional plus integral and proportional, integral and derivative tuning factors based on data provided. StepTuner 1 is based on graphical methods for determining the dead time, response time and relative gain.   From these factors the tuning constants are determined.  The program interfaces with Excel data but can be configured through dynamic data exchange to interface directly with a DCS or historian system.  

StepTuner 2 is based on a nonlinear regression using Powell’s method.  StepTuner 2 is an add on feature.
